Warwick Davis is taking on a new work project following the death of his wife Samantha.

The Harry Potter star is starring on YouTube channel Home Improvements UK alongside his Hollyoaks actress daughter Anabelle, 27.

The new venture comes just a week after Warwick announced his wife Samantha, 53, had died on March 24.

Decorator and influencer Foxy Devos announced the news on Instagram last week, posting a photo of Warwick and Anabelle and writing: 'Looking forward to starting this project and working together!'

Home Improvements UK episodes follow Will Mellor and Jodie Marsh as they break down the step-by-step process of different DIY building projects for viewers.

'Oh wow. I love him', one said, referring to the Star Wars actor. 'Oh my word now that's a proper legend love Warwick', another added.

Anabelle and her brother Harrison, 21, reached out to fans over the weekend to reassure Warwick's fans after the actor shared a worrying post.

Grief-stricken Warwick sparked concern among his fans after he made a late night post on X declaring 'I'm done here. Signing off' with a broken heart symbol.

Concerned fans commented on the X post, saying 'I'm so sorry for your loss' and 'take care of yourself'.

His children Annabelle and Harrison later posted to reassure worried fans, saying: 'Thank you everyone for looking out for our Dad, he is taking some time away from social media.

'He apologises if his last message caused anyone concern. We appreciate all of your love and support.'

The last photo of the pair saw the couple enjoying a date night out together as they beamed in a cheeky selfie.

In a touching statement released last Wednesday, Warwick said his late wife's passing had 'left a huge hole in our lives' and paid tribute to his 'favourite human'.

He described Sammy, as he called her, as his 'most trusted confidant and an ardent supporter of everything I did in my career'.

He said he felt like he could achieve anything with his wife by his side and that it felt like he had a 'superpower'.

'She was a unique character, always seeing the sunny side of life she had a wicked sense of humour and always laughed at my bad jokes,' Warwick said in a statement given to the BBC.

In 2022 Warwick had opened up about Samantha's health issues, including her hard fought battle with sepsis which left her on the brink of death before making a remarkable recovery.

In an emotional tribute to his 'favourite human', Davis said: 'Her passing has left a huge hole in our lives as a family. I miss her hugs.'
